The Expanse: A Telltale Series, the first IP from the reformed developer, will launch on Xbox in July, offering us an interactive experience based on the award-winning TV show.
Telltale has announced that The Expanse: A Telltale Series will launch on July 27th for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One with its first episode, followed by four additional episodes every two weeks. Both Standard and Deluxe Editions will be available, and DLC is planned for the future.
The Expanse: A Telltale Series launches on Xbox soon
Based on the award-winning TV show The Expanse from Alcon Television Group, Telltale’s episodic game sees us take on the role of Carmina Drummer, the XO of a scavenger crew hunting for a mysterious treasure on The Belt. Cara Gee reprises her role as Drummer as we scout shipwrecks, walk on walls and ceilings with mag boots, and use Zero-G thrusters to float through space. Our choices will decide the fate of The Artemis’ crew as we handle mutiny and explore locations beyond The Belt itself.
The Expanse: A Telltale Series is said to offer the “largest and most immersive exploration of any Telltale game to date,” so fans of the show could be in for a treat. If you’ve not watched The Expanse before and would like to check it out before Telltale’s new game, it’s available on Amazon Prime Video.
